ALUMNI REUNION: All St. Aloysius Academy and St. Rose School graduates are invited June 11, 2011 to the annual reunion. Mass will be at 4:30 pm at St. Rose Church for all living and deceased alumni…5:30 pm there will be a Happy Hour at the PCC…6:30 Dinner will be served by the 8th grade students for the 2011-2012 school year. Bill Nash of the Class of 1961(50 year class) will be the speaker. Honored Classes include: 1941(70 years)..1946(65years)..1951(60years).1956(55year).1961(50 years)..1966(45 years)..and the 2011 St. Rose graduates.

ST. ROSE FESTIVAL NEWS/ITEMS NEEDED

  1. Volunteers will be calling soon regarding the annual “2 pies, 2 cakes, or $20.00”. Cakes and pies are needed for the dinner, as well as cakes for the Cake Wheel. Remember that with your cake donations, the Cake Wheel makes 100% profit.
  2. Something NEW for kids this year…There will be a “Mystery Prize Wheel” in the kids’ game area. If you would like to donate to this wheel, we are looking for: mini bouncy balls, Silly bands, stickers, Happy Meal Toys, trinkets, school supplies (like pencils, erasers), gum, mints, suckers, dollar store toys. We hope this game will be a FUN addition for the kid! Thanks for your generosity!
  3. Cases of pop (cans only) Pepsi and Coke products are both acceptable.
  4. Looking for picnic tables and/or benches to use during the festival. If you have one that we could borrow for the event, we would gladly do the pick up and return.
  5. Baskets and items for baskets are now being accepted for the annual Basket Wheel. You can drop off filled baskets or bag of items for the basket at the PCC. This is a HUGE money maker and we rely on your donations to make it so successful each year!
  6. Students at St. Rose School are donating 5 lb bags of flour, 2 cans of pie filling, 1 box of large garbage bags, 2 cake mixes and 1 filled basket to earn a Non-Uniform Day on May 23rd. If you can help out a family with these donations, please do so. Any donation (big or small) would be appreciated!
  7. Look for your annual Festival letter (with raffle tickets) in the mail soon! Remember, our raffle is the BIGGEST money maker of the festival. Please sell or purchase your raffle tickets.
  8. Thanks to all the parents, grandparents, parishioners, friends, etc. who have made the Festival donation contests so successful!

With the support you’ve extended, we hope to cut costs and make this festival as profitable as ever! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

 

HOME BOUND VISITORS:

To all who have spoken with Fr. Victor about visiting their neighbors and taking Holy Communion to the home bound please contact the Consortium Office 342-1348 and leave a date, time and phone number when you can meet with Fr.
