BISHOP’S ANNUAL APPEAL: “United in Faith-Sharing in Love” For more than 50 years, the Catholic Diocese of Columbus has conducted the BAA to raise necessary funds that support ministries, programs and activities within your diocese. This financial support makes it possible to; ♦Educate our seminarians, who will one day be ordained and serve our diocese ♦Provide continuing education for our Clergy that includes our Priests and Deacons ♦Offer spiritual and pastoral programs such as RCIA and Parish School of Religion ♦Prepare couples for the Sacrament of Marriage and provide life enrichment programs for families ♦Offer an opportunity for individual parishes to receive funding for their own needs. These ministries and programs and activities extend to all throughout the 23 counties of the Catholic Diocese of Columbus. Our parish family has been asked to support these efforts. In order to reach our goal, each family is asked to consider a pledge. You are encouraged to support the 2011 BAA. Consider a gift of $1 a day for the next ten months. That is a $300 pledge. Regardless the gift amount, it is in the participation of all that we will unite in our faith and share in our love. As you prayerfully reflect upon a gift in proportion to your financial resources, please know that Bishop Campbell and the pastor are grateful to you for your sacrifice. BAA pledge weekend will be May 7th-8th for Sts. Bernard, Rose, and Patrick. Church of the Atonement will fill out their pledge envelopes this weekend.
