Welcome Back to School 2010-2011
We hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable summer break.  We are very excited to welcome everyone back to St. Rose School for the 2010-2011 school year.  Several changes have occurred and many preparations have been made to help ensure a successful school year for you and your family.  As with the beginning of each school year, there are several planned activities.  Please take the time and make sure you have these in you calendar:
Thursday, August 19, 3:30-4:30 p.m. is the school "walk-through".  This is a chance to see your classroom, drop off your supplies, and visit your teachers and classmates.
 
Friday, August 20, 8:25 a.m. is the first day of school.  An all school Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. so be sure to wear the Mass uniform with church shoes.
 
Friday, August 20, 8:45-9:45 a.m. is the "Boo-Hoo Breakfast" for the kindergarten parents at the PCC. 
 
On Monday, August 23, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at St. Rose Church, the grades K-4 "Curriculum Night" will be held.  More to come later on this event.
 
On Wednesday, August 25, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at St. Rose Church, the grades 5-8 "Curriculum Night" will be held.  More to come later on this event.
 

Hello to the New Faculty and Staff

 New Communication System to be Introduced
We are blessed to have new faculty and staff members joining our team.  Please welcome them and the rest of our dedicated faculty and staff to St. Rose.  You can see the full line-up by clicking on Faculty/Staff. St. Rose is excited to announce that a new communications systems will be introduced to the school community.  We will be utilizing the services of School Announcements to provide us with the ability to enhance communications between the school and our families.  The system will allow the school to generate e-mails, phone messages, and text messages for a variety of purposes.  This will be available for use by the school administration, faculty and staff, and other components of the school.  Many thanks go to Athletics and Home & School for funding this project.
