Schoolbelles Uniform Company
The Schoolbelles uniform company will visit St. Rose School on Monday, May 21st, from 4 to 6. They will be set up in the lower level of the PCC. If you would like to visit their website, it iswww.schoolbelles.com. Once you are on their site you should enter the school code, S2532 and select the gender you will be shopping for. You must click on shop. Hitting the enter key will not work. The website will then bring up the category listing; in each of those are the approved uniform items.
The School Closet Uniform Company Will visit St. Rose School on Thursday, May 31st, from 3 to 5. They will be set up in the lower level of the PCC. School Closet offers free shipping if your order is sent to the school. They are offering 30% off thru June 15th.
Uniform shirts, pants, shorts, etc. may be purchased elsewhere, as long as they follow the uniform code. The plaid skirts and jumpers are only available from the two uniform companies mentioned above. Festival Updates:
2 cans of pie filling = Non-uniform Day on Wednesday, May 16th Festival still seeking donations of sugar, flour, Pepsi and Coke products, and bottled water. Any donations would be much appreciated! Also, don't forget auditions for St. Rose Idol are May 19th, 9 - noon. Walk-ins are welcome! Please spread the word around! Breakfast Charges
Breakfast charges will be sent home Tuesday, May 15th. These should be paid immediately. Lunches and breakfast should be paid for daily if your student does not have money on their account. NO CHARGES WILL BE ALLOWED FOR THE REST OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.
No PM Buses
There will be no PM busing on Tuesday, May 15th. New Lexington City Schools will have an early dismissal on this day.
Market Day Market Day pick up is scheduled for Monday, May 21st, from 6 to 7. Volunteer hours are available from 5 to 6 unloading and distributing items. If you have any questions, please call Chrissy Dold. (342-1572) Field Day
Field Day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22nd. Students will walk to the park and enjoy a day of fun activities.
Sports Physicals
Sports physicals for St. Rose Athletics are scheduled for May 23, 2012 at 6 pm in the lower level of the PCC. If your child is going to participate in sports for the 2012-12 school year, your child must have a current sports physical. These physicals are free. Awards Day
Awards day will be held Friday, May 25th. The 5th through 7th grades will begin at 9am followed by the K through 4th grades at 10am. St. Rose Festival Donations Thank you to all who have participated so far in our Donation Cycles! For the next cycle, which will last until May 4th, we are asking for flour, sugar, and cake mixes. Students who bring in all 3 items will receive five prize tickets. Parishioners who would like to donate may drop off these items to the rectory. Place the student's name on the items or the bag. Donating these items will really cut back on the festival expenses. Thank you for helping out! Festival News We could really use 2 to 3 more Power Teams in the Kid Area. Home and School It’s that time of year again……..Home and School Elections are May 21st. All seats are up for election, plus can recycling, and we are looking for the next Labels for Education representative. Anyone interested in any of these rewarding positions please contact the school office @342-3043 or join us for out last meeting of the year on May 21st at 4 pm. P.S. Wednesday, May 9th, at 7 pm, please plan to attend a mandatory meeting in the lower level of the PCC, for parents and students to plan the alumni dinner. This is an annual fund-raiser for 7th graders. All parents and students must participate in this event. The alumni dinner is scheduled for Saturday, June 9th.

- Shoes – All brown, all black, or all white shoes may be worn Monday through Friday. All shoes, dress or tennis, must be solid in color, either brown, black, or white.
- Socks – Plain black, navy blue, tan or white. No sport or ankle height socks. No visible logos on socks.
- Belts – Navy, black or brown belts must be worn. No belts necessary for kindergartners. Belts must be worn with belt looped pants.
- Hats/Coats – Hats, coats or jackets may not be worn in the classroom during class time.
- Jewelry – No earrings are permitted. Small chains with crosses or religious medals are allowed.
- Hair – Hair should be neat, well groomed, and conservative in style. Hair may not touch the shirt collar or be longer than earlobe length. Hair may not be longer than the eyebrow area. No long sideburns.
